Dogs in sanctuaries are put to sleep when they are overcrowded, to make room for brand-new ones. Rudolph, an 8 month old American pit bull/Labrador mix, was set to be euthanized.

A veterinarian euthanized Rudolph at the Oklahoma sanctuary, yet he was awake, when they returned to take him. That made the veterinarian refused to do it once again! The fate also gave Rudolph another chance in life after a no-kill shelter in Iowa called Kings Harvest Pet Rescue stepped in.

They additionally shared his picture on Facebook, that’s when they received many adoption requests! Yet he was taken by a dog breeder of Siberian Huskies for veterans called Jacob Hommer, as he believed that Rudolph would certainly be perfect for an expert from Colorado.

When the veteran listened to Rudolph’s story, he did not hesitate, and also took him home! What a happy ending!
