A fitting name for a beautiful girl, miss Bella (meaning pretty in Italian) is a sweet lady that loves to be tucked in by her humans and giving people kisses. Sadly, her life hasn’t always been as beautiful as she is. Spayed now, this 6-year-old pibble weighs approximately 62 pounds, and she’s been waiting patiently for a forever home since January 5, 2022.

Shelter staff at Pima Animal Care Center say Bella is a sweet lady who came to PACC with her own grown-up pups after their people lost their home. One of her kiddos has flown the coop, but Bella is still waiting to find a new family of her own. She was house-trained in her previous home and enjoyed snoozing on her bed or the couch. While she did well with other dogs, she doesn’t like to share her bed or food with them (fair enough.) Here’s what Bella’s former family had to say about her:
“Bella is very special, and we’re going to miss her very much. She loves to be tucked in under blankets at night and she likes stuffed animals (and tearing them up). She loves attention and being talked to. Bella is very loving and would be the perfect dog for a person who has a lot of love to give and is looking for a new best friend.”

From what PACC knows, Bella was unfortunately allowed to have multiple litters of pups in her prior life, and that’s just exhausting. Now that she’s left motherhood in her rearview mirror permanently, Bella really deserves some pampering. She was a bit shy when she first arrived at PACC, but has blossomed and really opened up to her volunteer friends. She may need a minute to adjust when she heads to a new home, but she has a huge amount of love to give!!
In her most recent behavior evaluation, Bella was playful with the other dogs and has a dainty play style. She’s been attending playgroup regularly and enjoys socializing with the other shelter dogs. Bella is a super sweet lady who would love to find a family with plenty of time for cuddles.
