A 92 year old woman went outside to obtain the mail when something unforeseen and terrible happened; she turned her ankle joint and fell in a spot where no one might see her. This might have ended extremely badly, however thankfully she has a hero of a canine as a pet!.
Sassy the 9-year-old Chihuahua follows her owner, Marie Alexander, everywhere. Which turned out to be a very good point. When her owner decreased, Sassy tried ferreting out every vehicle that passed for five hrs.
That’s when a pair walking by listened to the non-stop barking and found the lady on the ground. Pretty amazing for a dog that just barks when the doorbell rings. This is evidence that she recognized her mother needed help.
Marie was hospitalized with severe dehydration and wound up with some bruised ribs. Yet Sassy conserved her life, possibly as a return on the support for Marie adopting her from the shelter when she was just a young pup.
