The cries for assistance of two stray puppies that had been abandoned in a sewer in the Los Angeles river were heard by some children who went to investigate.
Citlaly Rodriguez and Isaac Barajas were the ones who discovered the dogs and phoned Hope For Paws to request assistance. They remained with the dogs until Loreta Frankonyte and Eldad Hagar came to take care of them.
Eldad’s writing includes the following passage: “When Loreta and I arrived, we worked with these two great youngsters, and together we performed this rescue operation.”
